CHINGAY: WONDERLAND part one.
so we are here, along esplanade area, waiting to be briefed.
and the position that we had is CARPARK USHERS!
-.-
thanks to our facci who intro us this volunteer event.
carpark ushers....
carpark Ushers..
Carpark Ushers...
other schools like universities, other polytechnics, they got some decent job position, like,
Motivators, Crowd Control...
better than Carpark Ushers right!!!
HUMPH>.<
but never mind, at least we get to see those VIP face to face. haha!
something to console ourselves.
and so while waiting...
taking pictures is a must.
to kill time basically(:

while taking pictures... we noticed this phenomenon,
why do we classify this situation as phenomenon, is because...
the tourists are all attracted to this tree.
yea, no doubt. a tree.
and every 10 to 15 minutes, tour bus will come, and out come the tourists led by the tour guide. and they will always introduce this particular tree to them.
and why is a tourist attraction, a tree?

and some even took picture of the tree.
in fact, a lot of them did.

so what's so special about this particular tree that makes every tour group to stop by and introduce it to their tour members?
it turns out to be a cannonball tree.
heard of it before?
this is the first time i heard of it.
serious.

and the reason why it is called a cannonball tree?
because the fruit resembles a ball-like shape, and it is big as a cannonball.
if you observe carefully, roots i will say, are sprouting from the tree trunk.
unique way of surviving.

if i am able to take loads of pictures, this shows one thing, the job there is easy.
LOL.
free and easy.
all we have to do, is to wait for the VIPs to arrive in their cars, then usher the driver to park according to where we ask them to park.
and end of story!
easy yea?

these buildings remind me of something, "Spot The Difference" challenge.
imagine one of the window grills are missing, one tile is mixed up, additional poles, missing lamppost...etc..

yea, caution of the lamppost, hands off wanleng.

and the night falls in,
we break the lightstick, internally.
haha. didn't bother to take out.

one is lit, one is not.

geez. job is easy, and nothing to do unless the cars are coming in, and that in charge says we are doing nothing.
we were just sitting at the pavement there waiting....
waiting.....
nothing to do what!!!!
eee!
i hate people saying that we are doing nothing, when there's nothing for you to do!
what the hell.
if you listen to the rhythm of the pouring rain...
